The Haymarket, Edinburgh will bring together work and play in one of the most architecturally stunning developments. To excite people's appetite for this new space we have done some amazing work on new CGIs for the project. We constantly strive to keep ongoing projects fresh. We practice a multi-faceted approach and one process which is especially effective for pre-completion is keeping up to date with new styles and technologies in digital work. The new CGIs deliver a fresh look at the beautiful architecture and excitement of the social spaces. The client wanted us to show off the atmosphere of this development, and we delivered!
S-Kape is proud to announce that we will be re-branding 128 Queen Victoria Street. Our creative cogs are turning and we are excited about the prospect of creative development for this brand. The area is steeped in tradition but also eager for the future, and our initial research has already unveiled both fascinating history and inspiring potential. We will keep our website updated with all news from this project.
We were thrilled to be commissioned to design a private event in Knightsbridge last weekend. The highlight of the evening was String Fever, an incredibly talented group of musicians who creatively delighted their audience with the most genre-complex set played on Violectra. With S-Kape behind the organisation and planning, the party was a huge success. We thoroughly enjoyed personally designing the flower arrangements and decoration, and carried off every detail to the highest standard to leave our client with wonderful memories and pictures of their event.
At the beginning of the summer we welcomed our newest employee, Lalla. She studied Art History at York and went on to work in an art gallery in South London, so having Lalla on the S-Kape team will definitely be adding to the creative flair in the office.
Lalla will be helping all areas of S-Kape team, reflecting her multi-tasking skills. Addicted to animals, Lalla has already brought much excitement to the office by bringing in Lola the dog and Bubble the rabbit!
One of the many things we love about London is the imposing gothic beauty of our parliament building, especially good old Big Ben. It attracts so much interest because of its prominence in London’s history, present and future. Now, the government’s restoration and renewal committee is fixed to propose that MPs and peers will move out of the Houses of Parliament for six years in order for a £4bn renovation to take place. It will be the first time MPs have moved out since the Second World War, and the plans have been made in order to save the disintegrating stonework and avoid any large scale failures within the building in years to come. This should be an interesting change of routine for Westminster, and will no doubt be an important period for London’s architectural history.
At S-Kape Marketing & Design we are very excited for our first ride up the Brighton i360, which opened on the 4th August this year. The great thing about being based in London is that Brighton is just a short train ride away, and with a new site to see we have no excuse not to go! The expert architects, Julia Barfield and David Marks, who designed the London Eye in 2000, have again achieved the seemingly impossible, creating the world’s tallest slenderest tower on the shoreline of Brighton. The 162 meter observation tower is the world’s first vertical moving cable car. The project cost £46million, is estimated to generate over 440 permanent jobs and aims to attract almost 740,000 paying customers every year.

We enjoyed a day out at The Boodles Tennis at Stoke Park, with clients and the S-kape team, to celebrate the beginning of the summer. In true British style we drank our Pimm’s in a shower of rain, however the cloud passed and the sunshine shone all afternoon. We were luckily enough to get our first game face on for the match between Nick Kyrgios and Sacha Zverev, who both kept the crowd highly entertained. After Kyrgios’s win, on came David Goffin against Grigor Dimitrov for a match that had us on the edge of our seats! The tense match saw Dimitrov win as we all continued to soak up the atmosphere of Stoke Park’s beautiful surroundings.
Another great day out on our annual trip to Boodles Tennis, with all the players warmed up for Wimbledon, we look forward to following them over the next few weeks.
In early 2016 Tiger Developments appointed S-Kape to handle the full marketing campaign of The Aylesham Centre in central Peckham, a mixed-use scheme with retail on ground and first floors and 1,000 apartments above.
S-Kape have begun the exciting process of branding the scheme and building a community orientated website, which will act as an information hub for locals and visitors, and will evolve as the scheme develops.
It is current in its early stages, but watch this space…
The Haymarket, Edinburgh is one of our most exciting current projects. Following a five-way pitch, Interserve and Tiger Developments appointed S-Kape to brand and market the 650,000 sq ft development. Lying in centre of Edinburgh this mixed-use development will consist of office and retail space, two hotels and a car park.
After establishing the initial brand, we have continued to work on a full pre-completion campaign, including pre-completion brochure, bespoke tenant presentations, amenities brochure, website, CGi’s, signage, fly-through animation – to name a few!
The two hotels and several retail units have already been pre-let. The joint agents on this scheme include JLL, Dougray Smith and WYM Real Estate for the offices, and Eric Young& Co for the retail element.
S-Kape was selected to deliver a spectacular and memorable evening to celebrate the launch of One Queen Caroline Street in central Hammersmith. The roof terrace of the large office building was transformed into a relaxed but glamorous festival atmosphere, setting the scene for late summer’s evening. Guests enjoyed music by Mr & Mrs Jones (Sophie Ellis Bexter and Richard Jones), electric saxophonist and violinist, aerial acts and fire dancers.
Throughout the night guests enjoyed a selection of high quality canapés alongside elaborately decorated tapas and seafood food stalls.
Even though the heavens opened, we were prepared for all obstacles.
